Her divine nature of novelty comes with a unique style and flair that is more colorful and youthful. She has received 15 awards and several other nominations in both African and Global literature forums. She has written books, among them Half of A yellow Sun, which has been adapted into a film of the same title. She writes mainly from an African point of view.
