Extras of Makutano Junction TV Drama hails HIDEOUT

Getting a walk-on part of Makutano Junction could be within your grasp, with a little bit of cunning and some luck till you get to know who these extras at Makutano really are.And perhaps just where the hell is this place called Hide-Out??

Extras, or supporting artistes as they are also known, may seem to have glamorous jobs, mixing with the stars and earning money for very little work. However, the reality is quite different. If you decide to have a go at being an extra then you'll have to work long days, be available at short notice, and be prepared to do whatever work you are offered; work can be limited and there are always plenty of other hopefuls out there willing to do it. You'll also need a lot of patience as hours can be spent filming the same scene over and over again.

That is the joy that hit these enthusiastic extras at Makutano Junction…passionate and self driven team they have turned Makutano's Hide out zone into an ideal zone for brainstorming a networking zone.And perharps just who is this Firul the ever running boy of Makutano…with Loice collectively as 3rd ADs in Makutano they have formed an indefinable force to reckon with. “Just make them smile…”comedian Salim acting as extra in Makutano jolly recalls. This season’s Makutano extras will go into the records as the most will motivated and ambitious as the season rolls on their adamant viewers,a crew member disclosed to The Gossip Boy.

Makutano Junction is a weekly drama series set in a typical peri-urban East African town. The drama follows the lives, loves, frustrations and successes of a small African community living in a context and a manner familiar to tens of millions of people on the continent. Makutano Junction has a regular audience in Kenya of over 6.5 million viewers, together with viewers in other countries.
The ongoing production at Media E  is to debut on Kenya’s Citizen TV from 7.30pm of each Friday.
