Well, for the Kenyan lovers of Film, am so sorry but you might have to go abroad to watch this film. The Kenya Film Classification Board has decided the ‘Dirty Stuff’ wont be distributed or screened in Kenya.
The board stated on it social media page that “The Board wishes to inform the public, film operators and stakeholders that the film, 50 Shades of Grey has been RESTRICTED. It should not be screened or distributed to the public.”
The controversial film has been adapted from an erotic romance novel ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ by British author E.L. James.

The book is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices involving bondage, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism.
However, the book has topped best-seller lists around the world, including those of the United Kingdom and the United States. The series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide and been translated into 52 languages, and set a record in the United Kingdom as the fastest-selling paperback of all time.
The trailer on YouTube already has more than 90Million views, this tells just how much people around the world cant wait for its release.
Dakota Johnson, the lead actress in the film has asked her parents not to watch the film, as she would not like them to see her in it. Mmmh! Not surprised!
There is one problem in Kenya though, we are full of curiosity and banning of the film has only made it rise, I am certain that copies will be sold whether the board allows it or not!
