His excellency Robert Mugabe, the ZImbabwean dictator decided to take his glorious 91st birthday to the zoo. And the zoo they ate, to their fullest.
During his precious birthday, the dictators' guests were fed a young elephant, 2 buffaloes, 2 sables and 5 impalas, which were also donated to the president by a local landowner. He (the landowner) also threw in a lion and a crocodile to serve as an extra gift for his 'Lord'. As if not enough, 40 cows were offered to the president by two members of his government. And more,.. a second elephant is going to be shot and given to the Victoria Falls community. To top up all these, 7 cakes were offered to his 20,000 guests, one was in the shape of the African continent, and the rest were as big as a 6x6 mattress!!
The big bash, was held at the prestigious Elephant Hills Resort, an exclusive lodge, spa and golf course in Victoria Falls.
And oh, he released 91 colourful baloons to the air, with the help of Grace, the First Lady.
He squanders money to fill 20,000 'hungry' bellies, as the rest of Zimbabwe burn in what could be eternal porverty!. Poor Zimbaweans!! Mugabe has been accused of abusing human rights and democracy, but that seems to be the least of his concerns. Party comes first, and may be he will deal with the country's problems at 100th.
N/B: I wonder, Just how, as a loyal Zimbabwean, do you let yourself celebrate with such, knowing well the conditions of your motherland!
I am a wildlife and nature conservationist, and i want to tell Mr Mugabe that feasting wild animals is utterly obnoxious. You Sir, have failed my continent!!!
