UCHUMI tracks down kids to Uganda with 'goodie' bags.

Uchumi supermarket retailing store in Kenya might not be good at making large profits like Nakumat but they are so BIG at HEART.Today they have  tracked the kids whose heart touching photos were posted on a photojournalist Facebook page playing in recycled 'polythene bags' for jersey kits

The photojournalist who was raising likes as social campaign to make Uchumi give the less fortunate kids playing kits-whose picture deserves award finally has efforts greatly appreciated.
Well good news is Uchumi tracked the kids to the interiors Uganda and donated full playing kits and other unmentionable goodies.Bad news the kits were either too big or extra large for the poor kids but the smile and happines on there face would not be closeted. Uchumi became a trending topic in Kenya on twitter after there act of generosity and heroism.

Uchumi donated T-shirts to those kids..I see many unimpressed people are donating tweets yet they haven't given the kids smart phones yet

Even if Uchumi were doing it for PR, they were fulfilling a need. If they didn't do enough for you then how about you fill in the gaps?
