Gor Mahia Fan burns jersey to protest against his fellows invading Bokello Funeral



Drama unfolded in Ahero as a well known Gor Mahia fanatic stripped off his jersey(shirt) and burnt it to ashes he even threatened to strip off his pants too if Gor Mahia fans did not stop their invasion in Bokello funeral.But since no one in Kogallo green paratroopers could listen to him, the fan made his threat known immediately.

His plea to his 'green' fellows to stop causing chaos at the funeral fell on deaf ears as Mahia fans took the coffin of Okello and ran away with as mourners scamper for their lives,the bishops too flee =ing the scene.
Kogallo as they are locally known trooped the villages of Ahero like US Marines in Vietnam movies fully covered in green and scary heavy musketeers that no one would recognize them.The shocked villagers ran to save there lives helter-skelter screaming and wailing one would think Al Shabaab had invaded Ahero.
The events were followed keenly by followers of Kogallo in Kisumu who at the time were witnessing crowning of there Gor Mahia team as Top-Eight champions in the neighboring Kisumu city/
Bokello was a staunch Gor Mahia and was vocally known and referred to as Nyakwar Kira in the many songs chanted in his praise.He was laid to rest at his village in Ahero after a long time suffering with cancer.
He will be remembered for his role as Bokello in Inspekta Mwala of Citizen Tv.
